Who We Are
Empowering Young Leaders For Today INC. (EYLFT, INC.)
Empowering Young Leaders For Today INC. (EYLFT, INC.) is a Christian faith-based mentorship organization dedicated to transforming the lives of children, youth, and young adults. Our mission is to empower, educate, and uplift through a diverse range of programs, including educational initiatives, mental and medical health services, and spiritual enrichment. We believe in activating each individual’s God-given purpose while equipping them with leadership skills and career-building strategies that foster success in all aspects of life.
The Visionary
Crystal Boateng was born in Fairfax, Virginia, and raised along Richmond Highway in Alexandria. She is a devoted wife and proud mother of three incredible children. Crystal attended Old Dominion University, where she studied Speech Pathology and Audiology with a minor in Human Services and Special Education. She later earned her Master’s degree in Clinical Social Work (MSW) from Virginia Commonwealth University.
From a young age, Crystal possessed a servant’s heart and a deep desire to help others thrive and become all that Jesus Christ has called them to be. Her unwavering passion for youth and her unconditional love for the next generation have made a powerful and lasting impact in communities, schools, and churches. She firmly believes that every young person deserves the opportunity to walk in their God-ordained purpose.
The mandate for her nonprofit, EYLFT INC., was conceived in August 2016 and birthed in July 2020. While some may wonder why there was a delay, Crystal is firm in her belief in following the voice of the Holy Spirit—moving not in her own timing, but in God’s.
With over 13 years of experience in the mental health field and a dynamic background in psychotherapy, Crystal accepted the call placed on her life to establish a 100% free, Christ-centered youth mentorship program. She often describes herself as a modern-day Mary, the mother of Jesus: “I have only been called to birth this great vision from God. Now I release this mandate into the world and allow Him to take control.”
Crystal believes that through the support of like-minded individuals, churches, community leaders, schools, government agencies, and loyal partners, a lasting impact can be made for generations to come.

Our vision is to ensure that no young person is left behind without discovering and stepping into their divine purpose. We offer a range of free programs and services designed to provide a nurturing, supportive, and safe environment for youth and young adults.
While we are a Christ-centered organization, we welcome individuals from all backgrounds, ethnicities, cultures, and religions. Our services are open to every young person seeking guidance, mentorship, and holistic stability in all areas of life.
Our team is made up of passionate, dedicated individuals who are committed to walking alongside young people from all walks of life. With servant hearts and a strong desire to uplift the next generation, we strive to create lasting impact.
